A2A is an all inclusive management system that allows operators to add services to their network and manage those services through a common interface.

The Network overlay incorporates middleware that connect to the core network elements such as switching, provisioning, routing and aggregates billing information formats.

Through this powerful management system any operator can deploy advanced NGN services over their network such as IPTV, application distribution with revenue assurance and many other cutting edge service offerings.

The A2A platform is being deployed in LATAM and in select Eastern European countries and is maintained vigorously with service enhancements being added all the time.

Talk24's Service Provisioning and Billing system is deployed through a cloud environment and hosted by Talk24. This operating system converges all service provision and billing onto one platform, irrespective of the multiple technologies and services that an operator may use. This operating platform offers a full hierarchy, modular system allowing delivery of basic telephony services to advanced 4G value added services and can be managed from a high level operator view to distributor, reseller and sub-agent levels, down to distinct user groups or individual subscriber profile levels.

Such convergence and streamlining decreases the complexity and cost of managing multiple user profiles on different technologies and service. Multi-currency and multi-language is supported.

 


 

Billing Record Converter

With the ability to convert billing record files from one network to another it enables the ability to produce direct settlement records according to the standards of other networks. For example TAP → CIBER → CIBER 2 TAP → CDR → TAP etc. It also allows reciprocal and wholesale interconnects to a much wider client base and opens additional revenue streams. A2A conversion plays a key role in Fixed Mobile Convergence and opens revenue opportunity to a wider whole sale and retail global market place 


 


User Management

Custom Profiles

The Talk24 Platform has customizable profiles which contain data for service operation and billing. These profiles provide the flexibility to create a custom service environment. Data must be updated by the operator using the web interface. Profiles and services can be applied to subscriber groups / closed user groups or even single subscribers.

Examples of data that should be completed:

  • Rate table for international calls (A to Z list)

  • Home country rate when calling from abroad

  • MT call rates when roamed (networks list)

  • SMS MO rates from abroad (A to Z list)

  • SMS MT rate when roamed

  • GPRS/EDGE/EVDO/HSPA session prices and rounding

  • Bonus minutes, connection fees and rounding for billing intervals

  • Additional services (see below)

Such profiles are provisioned once and then automatically applied to newly provisioned subscribers. Any time profile data is modified; the modifications are applied to all subscribers. Any number of profiles may be supported by the Talk24 Platform for each operator.

 


 

End User Portals

Service usage reports, invoices, pricing and many other end-user related abilities can be offered through end-user portals. The supplied API's contain many high level functions for features mentioned as well as subscriber registration and management. APIs allow operators to integrate Talk24 Platform services into an existing end-user portal or create a new one.

 


 

Operator Billing Integration

The platform’s web interface can be used at any time to view and analyze various service usage reports. Operators can also download detailed, structured data for verification, storage and / or integration to their existing billing system. Subscriber invoicing can also be done using platform facilities in conjunction with an operator's existing system.

 


 

Money Watch 24

Talk24's fraud management system detects fraud in real-time and alerts the operator based on pre-defined thresholds. The system also alerts operators when it detects changes in each subscriber usage patterns.

The system can be deployed to monitor both home and roaming traffic, analysing input from various sources for revenue assurance, fraud prevention and reduced losses for the operator. The system can send text or voice alerts and/or block subscribers from further usage before further calls are authorised.


 

Alternative Routes

Talk24's Prepaid system enables easy deployment of advanced telecom services to an operator's prepaid subscriber base. Services include delivery of 4G services to prepaid users, cloud environment functionality, real-time prepaid global roaming services, aggregated value added services (“VAS”) and apps store in protocol agnostic environments.

This allows operators to quickly and cost effectively offer enhanced prepaid services to their subscriber which can be delivered with highly flexible payment / usage terms and charging options (time of day, day of week, time zone, multi-tier, etc.). Top-up via credit card, vouchers, and many 3rd party integrations such as pay-pal. Prepaid roaming is supported using CAMEL or WIN (IS-826, IS-41D) based messages. Talk24's Prepaid System provides a web and voice portal that subscribers can use to manage their prepaid account and thus decrease operator administration costs.

 


 

SIP-T

Many models of mobile equipment have embedded SIP-T clients and/or UMA support and mobile operators can offer subscribers a SIP-T service. This functionality also expedites compliance for LTE and IMS implementation. The Talk24 Platform supports all standard clients, automatically creating SIP-T accounts for each subscriber. The SIP-T service can be used at any time the subscriber has access to EDGE or other internet bandwidth, and is charged in real-time. Rates and routes for SIP traffic are custom and set up by the operator.

 


 

Call Back

Another service that reduces roaming costs and increases ARPUs is CallBack. CallBack can be invoked with messaging via IN (CAMEL or WIN), USSD or a SMS request from a subscriber. Rates and routes for callback are set by the operator. Each CallBack leg can be routed via different paths and rates. MAP link or an API is required for this service deployment.

 

 


 

DID Trades

Operators can provision batches of global numbers from many countries into the platform which can be offered to subscribers for global presence and used worldwide. DID numbers can be routed to a subscriber’s , custom phone number, voice-mail box or SIP connection. Routing and rates for DID profiles and traffic can be customized by the operator.

 

 



Access 24

Talk24's multi-hierarchy web portal can be used throughout the sales distribution channel, from operator to subscriber level. Subscribers can use the web portal to manage their subscription / account directly.

Operators can use the web portal to manage directly all the way down to individual subscriber account level as well as manage and enable distributors / resellers to administer operator services, monitor usage, set customer profiles and enhance customer services they deliver to subscribers in general or closed user groups.

Additional features of the operator portal allows operators to leverage additional sales channels and set up MVNO functionality in less than 24 hours, manage roaming relationships, analyse business intelligent information, introduce decision support systems, optimize least cost routing, utilize call back functions, manage fraud setting and alerts, etc.
